Credit Card details and processing of payments are managed on behalf by our partner Stripe and will be handled according to Stripes terms of service. When you sign up for a Stripe account you will be asked to agree to these terms.

7. Email communications from Assistance HQ

Assistance HQ also provides you with selected information on our website and services changes maybe communicated by email newsletter. This free service is sent to registered users and provides the option of opting out of receiving these by changing your preferences in Manage My Account. Assistance HQ may also make you aware of additional products and services which form part of your relationship with Assistance HQ.

8. Storage & Security of Personal Information

Assistance HQ takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of our system. Assistance HQ allows you to access your information at any time to keep it accurate and up to date. Any information which we hold for you is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by Assistance HQ. However, Assistance HQ will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access of your personal information. You can also play an important role in keeping your personal information secure, by maintaining the confidentiality of any password and accounts used on the Assistance HQ site, using strong and unique passwords and ensuring your workstation is maintained and has the latest software updates.

Unless you become a registered Assistance HQ user, Assistance HQ does not collect information that identifies you personally. If however, you become a Assistance HQ registered user, you are able to change and update your registered profile at any time. 13. How we use social login account user data

When you login with a social login account such as Google, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn; Assistance HQ uses your email address and display name to create your account identity in Assistantce HQ. Subsequently this account identity maybe accessed, used, stored, or shared according to the terms of the privacy policy above.

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf.
